I’ve been putting this post off for a few months for obvious reasons, but time helps and in Memory of J it’s time to share some of the most intimate moments I have ever had the privilege of capturing.
My husband and I first met J years ago when he hired us to take care of some property management for him. We knew he was a great man from the moment we met. Kind, honest, hardworking and above all amicable. Through these years and we have come to know and love him like a father. We’ve been so lucky to get to know his family and sweet wife.
He had Leukemia. All the nurses who had worked with J showed up to the funeral, reiterating that he was their favorite patient- patient.
His employees who admired him came in their company trucks to pay their respects.
Between tears and the clicking of the shutter, I hope to have captured a few moments of closure that can help the family celebrate his life and grieve his passing.
